Wholesale orderingBuying models
How businesses use wholesale PlayStation codes
The right buying path depends on unit volume, regional complexity and whether your team orders manually or through a contracted integration.
01
Fit matrix
Find your business buying model
| Use case | Typical operational need | Best starting point | Main control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gaming retailer or reseller | Replenish several regions and face values | Wholesale gift-card catalog | Keep region labels attached to every line |
| Employee or customer rewards | Allocate set wallet values to known recipients | Regions and pricing planner | Collect account country before ordering |
| Marketplace or order desk | Match downstream orders to one controlled supply order | Private catalog and mixed order | Use stable internal references and avoid credential collection |
| Subscription reseller | Offer PlayStation Plus by region and duration | Wholesale PlayStation Plus | Do not infer a tier where the catalog record does not name one |
| Large contracted buyer | Recurring volume, API or credit review | Manager and eligibility review | Agree limits, support and contract scope before integration |
02
Volume lanes
Choose the right order size
| Requested quantity | Process | Commercial boundary |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 cards | Manual test request | Available by request through a manager; the unit price may be slightly higher because of operating costs |
| 50-5000 units | Account order | Quantity is counted across the whole mixed order |
| Order by email | Manager-handled order | A case-specific volume discount may be discussed, but is not guaranteed |
| Recurring contracted volume | API and/or trade-credit review | Available only after verification, commercial review and written agreement |
03
Contracted buyers
Trade credit needs separate approval
Approved large buyers may be considered for trade credit after commercial review. The credit limit, payment term and permitted use are agreed in writing, case by case.
Standard accounts have no spendable credit or self-service top-up.
- Business verification is required before a credit decision.
- A recurring purchase history may form part of the review.
- API access and credit approval are separate decisions even when requested together.
04
First-order confidence
Request a small first-order test
Prospective wholesale buyers may request a manual 1–2 card test through support. A manager reviews the request; the unit price may be slightly higher because of operating costs.
This test is separate from the standard 50–5000 unit self-service order.
05
Order preparation
Prepare your first order
- Record the recipient account country beside each product line.
- Choose the gift-card face value, or the Plus duration and exact catalog tier label.
- Add the quantities for all lines, then check the current USD total in the signed-in catalog.
